1. ACCEPTANCE OF TERMS
By accessing, browsing, or using Lightworkers.life ("the Platform"), you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms") and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not access or use the Platform.
These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Lightworkers ("Lightworkers," "we," "us," or "our"). By clicking "I Accept," creating an account, or using our services, you are entering into this agreement and confirm that you have the legal capacity to do so.
2. DESCRIPTION OF SERVICE
Lightworkers.life is an online marketplace platform that connects clients seeking holistic wellness services with qualified practitioners, including but not limited to:
- Spiritual counselors and coaches
- Energy healers and Reiki masters
- Crystal healers and sound therapists
- Meditation and mindfulness instructors
- Holistic health practitioners
- Life coaches and spiritual mentors
- Alternative wellness professionals
Platform Role: We operate exclusively as an intermediary platform facilitating connections between independent practitioners and clients. We do not provide, endorse, or guarantee any healing, coaching, or wellness services directly.
3. ELIGIBILITY AND AGE RESTRICTIONS
3.1 Age Requirements
- You must be at least 18 years of age to use this Platform
- Users under 18 may only access the Platform with verifiable parental or guardian consent
- We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 years of age
3.2 Capacity
By using this Platform, you represent and warrant that:
- You have the legal capacity to enter into binding agreements
- Your use of the Platform complies with all applicable local, state, national, and international laws
- All information you provide is accurate and truthful
4. USER RESPONSIBILITIES
4.1 For Clients:
- Accurate Information: Provide truthful and current information when creating accounts and contacting practitioners
- Respectful Conduct: Treat practitioners with respect and professionalism
- Good Faith Use: Use the Platform solely for legitimate wellness and spiritual development purposes
- Payment Compliance: Honor payment agreements made with practitioners
- Health Responsibility: Maintain responsibility for your own health decisions and outcomes
4.2 For Practitioners:
- Professional Credentials: Maintain current, accurate, and verifiable professional qualifications
- Truthful Representation: Provide honest information about your training, experience, and service offerings
- Legal Compliance: Comply with all applicable laws, regulations, and professional standards in your jurisdiction
- Professional Boundaries: Maintain appropriate professional relationships with clients
- Independent Contractor Status: Acknowledge that you are an independent contractor, not an employee of Lightworkers
- Service Quality: Provide services consistent with your advertised qualifications and descriptions
5. PRACTITIONER VERIFICATION AND DISCLAIMER
5.1 Verification Efforts
While Lightworkers makes reasonable efforts to verify basic practitioner credentials during the onboarding process, we do not and cannot guarantee:
- The accuracy of all practitioner qualifications or credentials
- The quality, safety, or effectiveness of any services provided
- The professional competence or ethical conduct of practitioners
- The outcomes or results of any sessions or treatments
5.2 Independent Contractors
All practitioners on the Platform are independent contractors providing their own services. Lightworkers does not:
- Employ, supervise, or control practitioners
- Provide training or certification to practitioners
- Assume responsibility for practitioner actions or decisions
- Guarantee availability or scheduling of practitioner services
5.3 User Responsibility
Users are strongly encouraged to:
- Conduct their own research and due diligence when selecting practitioners
- Verify credentials and qualifications independently
- Trust their intuition when choosing healing services
- Seek multiple opinions for significant health or life decisions
6. COMPREHENSIVE MEDICAL AND HEALTH DISCLAIMER
6.1 No Medical Advice
THE SERVICES OFFERED THROUGH LIGHTWORKERS ARE NOT INTENDED TO DIAGNOSE, TREAT, CURE, OR PREVENT ANY DISEASE OR MEDICAL CONDITION. The Platform and all services accessed through it are for informational, educational, and spiritual development purposes only.
6.2 Medical Treatment Requirement
- Always consult qualified medical professionals for medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment
- Do not discontinue prescribed medications or medical treatments based on information received through the Platform
- Seek immediate medical attention for any medical emergency
- Inform your healthcare providers about any alternative or complementary therapies you are receiving
6.3 Mental Health Services
If you are experiencing mental health crises, suicidal thoughts, or psychological emergencies:
- Contact emergency services immediately (911, 112, or your local emergency number)
- Contact a mental health crisis hotline
- Seek immediate professional psychological or psychiatric care
- The Platform is not equipped to handle mental health emergencies
6.4 No Guarantees
We make no representations or warranties regarding:
- The effectiveness of any healing modalities or spiritual practices
- Specific outcomes or results from using practitioner services
- The safety or suitability of any particular approach for your individual circumstances
7. PAYMENT TERMS AND FINANCIAL POLICIES
7.1 Payment Processing
- All payments are processed through secure third-party payment processors
- Users are responsible for providing accurate payment information
- Lightworkers may charge platform fees as disclosed during the booking process
- All fees are in the currency specified at the time of transaction
7.2 Refund Policy
- Refund policies are primarily governed by individual practitioner terms
- Platform fees may be non-refundable as specified at time of purchase
- Disputed charges should first be addressed directly with the practitioner
- Lightworkers reserves the right to mediate payment disputes at its discretion
7.3 Chargebacks and Disputes
- Users agree to contact Lightworkers before initiating chargebacks
- Fraudulent chargebacks may result in account termination
- Users are responsible for any costs associated with unwarranted chargebacks
7.4 Pricing and Fee Changes
- Practitioners set their own service prices
- Platform fees may change with 30 days' notice to users
- Continued use of the Platform after fee changes constitutes acceptance
8. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY RIGHTS
8.1 Platform Content
All content on the Lightworkers Platform, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, images, software, and design elements, is the exclusive property of Lightworkers or our licensors and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.
8.2 User-Generated Content
By posting content on the Platform, you grant Lightworkers a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, display, and distribute your content for Platform operations and marketing purposes.
8.3 Practitioner Content
Practitioners retain ownership of their original content but grant Lightworkers permission to display such content on the Platform for service promotion and user connection purposes.
8.4 Prohibited Uses of Intellectual Property
Users may not:
- Copy, reproduce, or distribute Platform content without permission
- Use Lightworkers trademarks or logos without written consent
- Create derivative works based on Platform content
- Reverse engineer or attempt to extract source code from the Platform
9. PRIVACY AND DATA PROTECTION
9.1 Privacy Commitment
We are committed to protecting your privacy and personal information in compliance with applicable data protection laws, including GDPR and CCPA where applicable.
9.2 Health Data Sensitivity
We recognize that wellness and spiritual services may involve sensitive personal information. Our Privacy Policy provides detailed information about:

9.3 Data Breach Notification
In the event of a data security breach that affects your personal information, we will notify affected users within 72 hours as required by applicable law and provide guidance on protective measures.
9.4 International Data Transfers
If you are located outside our primary jurisdiction, your data may be transferred to and processed in countries with different data protection standards. We ensure appropriate safeguards are in place for such transfers.
10. ENHANCED LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
10.1 Platform Role
LIGHTWORKERS OPERATES SOLELY AS AN INTERMEDIARY PLATFORM. WE ARE NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR:
- The quality, safety, legality, or effectiveness of practitioner services
- Any interactions, disputes, or agreements between users and practitioners
- Any physical, emotional, spiritual, or financial harm resulting from practitioner services
- Technical failures, service interruptions, or data loss
10.2 Maximum Liability Cap
IN NO EVENT SHALL LIGHTWORKERS' TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ALL DAMAGES, LOSSES, AND CAUSES OF ACTION (WHETHER IN CONTRACT, TORT, OR OTHERWISE) EXCEED THE LESSER OF:
- (a) The amount you have paid to Lightworkers in the 12 months preceding the claim, or
- (b) One hundred dollars ($100 USD)
10.3 Excluded Damages
LIGHTWORKERS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR:
- Indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages
- Loss of profits, revenue, data, or business opportunities
- Personal injury or property damage arising from Platform use
- Damages resulting from practitioner services or user interactions
10.4 Acknowledgment
You acknowledge that these liability limitations are reasonable and necessary for Lightworkers to provide the Platform at current pricing levels.
11. INDEMNIFICATION
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Lightworkers, its officers, directors, employees, agents, and affiliates from and against any and all claims, damages, obligations, losses, liabilities, costs, or debt, and expenses (including attorney's fees) arising from:
- Your use of the Platform and services
- Your violation of these Terms of Service
- Your violation of any third-party rights, including intellectual property, privacy, or publicity rights
- Any content you post or transmit through the Platform
- Any disputes between you and practitioners or other users
- Your provision of services as a practitioner (if applicable)
This indemnification obligation shall survive termination of your account and these Terms.
12. PROHIBITED USES AND CONDUCT
You may not use the Platform for any unlawful purpose or in any way that could damage, disable, overburden, or impair the Platform. Prohibited activities include, but are not limited to:
12.1 Legal Violations
- Any illegal activities or solicitation of illegal acts
- Violating any applicable laws, regulations, or ordinances
- Infringing upon intellectual property rights
- Engaging in fraudulent or deceptive practices
12.2 Harmful Conduct
- Harassing, threatening, or intimidating other users
- Posting defamatory, discriminatory, or hate speech content
- Attempting to harm minors in any way
- Impersonating any person or entity
12.3 Platform Abuse
- Attempting to gain unauthorized access to Platform systems
- Using automated systems to access or interact with the Platform
- Interfering with the proper functioning of the Platform
- Circumventing security measures or usage limitations
12.4 Commercial Misuse
- Using the Platform for unauthorized commercial purposes
- Competing directly with Lightworkers using Platform resources
- Soliciting users to use competitive services
13. ACCOUNT TERMINATION AND SUSPENSION
13.1 Termination Rights
Lightworkers reserves the right to terminate or suspend user accounts immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason, including:
- Violation of these Terms of Service
- Fraudulent or suspicious activity
- Complaints from other users about conduct or services
- Extended periods of inactivity
- Legal or regulatory requirements
13.2 Effect of Termination
Upon account termination:
- Your right to access the Platform immediately ceases
- We may delete your account information and content
- Outstanding payment obligations remain in effect
- These Terms continue to apply to prior Platform use
13.3 Survival
The following sections survive account termination: Intellectual Property Rights, Limitation of Liability, Indemnification, Dispute Resolution, and Governing Law.
14. DISPUTE RESOLUTION AND ARBITRATION
14.1 Mandatory Arbitration
ANY DISPUTE, CLAIM, OR CONTROVERSY ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THESE TERMS OR YOUR USE OF THE PLATFORM SHALL BE RESOLVED EXCLUSIVELY THROUGH BINDING ARBITRATION rather than in court, except that you may assert claims in small claims court if your claims qualify.
14.2 Arbitration Process

14.4 Exceptions
This arbitration provision does not apply to:
- Claims for injunctive or equitable relief
- Disputes related to intellectual property rights
- Claims that may be brought in small claims court
15. FORCE MAJEURE
Lightworkers shall not be liable for any delay or failure to perform any obligation under these Terms if such delay or failure results from circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to:
- Natural disasters, pandemics, or public health emergencies
- Acts of war, terrorism, or civil unrest
- Government actions, regulations, or sanctions
- Internet or telecommunications failures
- Third-party service provider failures
- Labor strikes or disputes
During force majeure events, we will make reasonable efforts to minimize service disruptions and will resume normal operations as soon as reasonably possible.
16. MODIFICATIONS TO TERMS
16.1 Amendment Rights
Lightworkers reserves the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. Material changes will be communicated through:

16.2 Acceptance of Changes
Your continued use of the Platform after receiving notice of changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms. If you disagree with any changes, your sole remedy is to discontinue using the Platform.

17. GENERAL PROVISIONS
17.1 Entire Agreement
These Terms of Service, together with our Privacy Policy and any additional terms referenced herein, constitute the entire agreement between you and Lightworkers regarding your use of the Platform.

If any provision of these Terms is deemed invalid, illegal, or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.

Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms shall not constitute a waiver of such right or provision.
17.4 Assignment
You may not assign or transfer your rights under these Terms without our written consent. We may assign our rights and obligations under these Terms without restriction.

You consent to receive communications from us electronically, and you agree that all agreements, notices, disclosures, and other communications that we provide to you electronically satisfy any legal requirement for written communication.

19. GOVERNING LAW AND JURISDICTION
